Account and Data Deletion

Who This Page Is For
Onsight is a workforce intelligence and compliance platform used by organizations to manage attendance, geofenced check-ins, worksites, exceptions, live workforce visibility, audit logs, and related employee records. Mobile app users usually receive their accounts through their employer or organization admin.
How to Request Account or Data Deletion
- Email hello@onsight.work with the subject line "Data deletion request".
- Include the email address used for your Onsight account and the name of your employer or organization.
- Tell us whether you want your account deleted, specific personal data deleted, or specific personal data corrected.
- We may ask for reasonable verification before processing the request so we do not delete or disclose data to the wrong person.
Employees may also contact their employer or organization admin directly. Because employers control most workplace attendance and compliance records, some deletion requests must be approved or handled by the employer.
Data That May Be Deleted
- Account profile data where deletion is allowed, such as name, phone number, employee profile fields, and app account identifiers.
- Mobile app device records where they are no longer needed for security, device approval, fraud prevention, or compliance.
- Selfie verification images where deletion is allowed by the employer's policy, customer agreement, and applicable law.
- Support, contact, and demo request records that are no longer needed for support, security, or legal purposes.
Data That May Be Retained
Some information may be retained where required for legal, security, audit, contractual, payroll, compliance, tax, dispute-resolution, or fraud-prevention reasons.
- Attendance records, check-ins, check-outs, worksite assignments, exception records, and audit logs may be retained by the employer for workplace compliance, payroll, dispute resolution, and legal obligations.
- Security logs, anti-fraud signals, device integrity events, abuse-prevention records, and system audit logs may be retained to protect Onsight and our customers.
- Billing, subscription, tax, and transaction records may be retained where required by law or payment processing obligations.
- Backups may retain deleted data for a limited period until they expire through normal backup rotation.
Response Time
We aim to acknowledge deletion requests within 7 business days. Completed deletion or correction requests are usually processed within 30 days after verification, unless a longer period is required because of legal, security, contractual, or employer-controlled records.
